FAST 8 Adds GAME OF THRONES Badass to Its Ranks

Filming on Fast 8 is going to be revving up soon, and it looks like the cast has gained yet another Game of Thrones alum. After adding Nathalie Emmanuel (Dany's right-hand woman Missandei) as a talented hacker in Furious 7, the producers have reportedly hired the awesome Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) to the new movie as a henchman to the mysterious main villain.

Charlize Theron was rumored to be playing a baddie in February, but her involvement in this project is still unconfirmed at this time. No word yet about whether Hivju (who also starred in the critically-acclaimed film Force Majeure) would be henchman for her potential character or for returning badass Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw. Either way, I'm sure Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his #family will have something to say about that. Straight Outta Compton helmer F. Gary Gray is directing the new movie, and Fast 8 blasts into theaters on April 17, 2017. I can't wait!
