The Black Ranger Has Been Cast in POWER RANGERS
The casting announcements for Lionsgate's Power Rangers movie continue. The studio has revealed that Monster Hunt actor Ludi Lin will be playing the Black Ranger in the movie. He will join Naomi Scott, who has been cast in the role of the Pink Ranger, and Dacre Montgomery, who is taking on the part of the Red Ranger.
Monster Hunt is a crazy-looking Chinese film that I haven't seen yet, but I want to! You can watch the trailer for that movie here.
Dean Israelite (Almanac) is directing Power Rangers from a script by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz. The story reimagines the origins of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, a group of high school kids given extraterrestrial powers who unite to save the world.
