Ben Affleck Rumored To Be Spotted On The Set of DEADPOOL 3
An interesting new rumor has surfaced about Deadpool 3 saying that Ben Affleck has been spotted on the set of the film.
The report comes from insider @ThComixKid who noted that they “have no idea” who Affleck would be playing if he was even in it. However, in a reply to a comment, they noted that it’s “likely” that Affleck could be playing his version of Daredevil from the 2003 film. This is entirely possible with Deadpool 3 playing around with the multiverse.
Deadpool 3 will reportedly feature more than two variants of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and “We’re also going to get at LEAST one other Wolverine in [Deadpool 3].” There are also reports that several members of Fox’s X-Men movies will be joining the party. If this is all actually happening, anything is possible! It’s not too far-fetched to think Affleck could show up in the movie as Daredevil.
Then we’ve got Rob Liefield, who talked about the rest of the cast saying that it is going to blow fans away: “The stuff I know, it will melt your face, alright? That’s all I’m going to say, it’ll melt your face. I’ve been very fortunate people put stuff in front of me. And trust me, all I’m saying is, I saw that cast list. I think people are just going to freakin’ get blown away, and I’m not saying shit more than what I just said.”
So, we know that crazy big things are happening in this movie, and if Affleck actually shows up as Daredevil, that would be pretty freakin’ amazing, especially in a Deadpool movie because you know they are going to have some crazy fun with it.
The movie is being directed by Shawn Levy, who previously teased the R-rated violence and foulness of the film, saying: "We are writing, rewriting, developing, prepping Deadpool every day now. It is such a blast to laugh every day. It is so delicious to hear and write and come up with these scenes where people are just talking foul. And the violence is in your face and hardcore, and it's very much a Deadpool movie."
The movie also stars Emma Corrin as the villain, Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al.
Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend Yukio. It’s also being reported that Halle Berry will be back as Storm, Famke Janssen will reprise her role as Jean Grey, and James Marsden will return and play Cyclops! It’s also teased that the movie will also include a returning X-Men villain and a returning MCU villain.
It’s also been revealed that Wolverine and Deadpool are not going to get along in the movie. Wolverine hates Deadpool, and Jackman previously talked about that, saying: “How do I categorize it? Ten being really close, zero being the reality, we’re zero, we’re opposites, hate each other. I’m just talking from my perspective, [Logan’s] frustrated by him, wants to be a million miles away from him or wants to punch him in the head. Unfortunately, he can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’m probably going to punch him in the head a lot.”
Deadpool 3 is currently slated to open in theaters on May 3, 2024.
