Channing Tatum's Reported Gambit Cameo in DEADPOOL 3 Said to Feature "Comic-Accurate" Suit
It’s been reported in the past that Channing Tatum is going to show up as Gambit in Deadpool 3 in a cameo role. This has not been confirmed, but a new rumor has surfaced regarding the character’s appearance saying that he will be sporting his “comic-accurate” costume.
The scoop comes from insider @CanWeGetToast, who also shared on social media that the costume will include the “purple armor, trench coat and all.” If this is true, there’s no doubt that fans are going to freakin’ flip out! One thing we know for sure is that the cameos in this movie are going to be amazing.
The other possible cameo appearances that have been rumored include: Brian Cox as William Striker, Halle Berry as Storm, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Famke Jensen as Jean Grey, Lewis Tan as Shatterstar, Ben Affleck as Daredevil, Taylor Swift as Dazzler, Taron Edgerton as a different Wolverine, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Dafne Keen as Laura Howlett aka X23, Rebecca Romijn as Raven, Julian McMahon as Doctor Doom, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Ian McKellen as Magneto.
I know some of these are most likely legit, but I also don’t expect all of them to appear in the movie. Some of those are just pure speculation that some websites are throwing online for the sake of throwing it online.
It was previously confirmed that Jennifer Garner will return as Elektra in the movie and it was also previously reported that Deadpool 3 will feature more than two variants of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and two variants of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
The movie is being directed by Shawn Levy, and the movie also stars Emma Corrin as the villain, Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. They are joined by Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend Yukio.
The movie was recently removed from Disney’s release schedule, so we don’t know for sure when it will be released.
