Charlie Cox’s Daredevil Isn’t Done Yet, Insider Teases What’s Next After BORN AGAIN

Charlie Cox may be approaching the end of Daredevil: Born Again, but Marvel apparently has more plans for the Man Without Fear. A new insider report suggests Matt Murdock’s MCU story will continue beyond the Disney+ series, and he might not be the only street-level hero getting another shot at the spotlight.

During a recent Discord Q&A hosted by The Cosmic Circus, insider Alex Perez was asked whether Daredevil could make the jump to the big screen once Born Again finishes its run.

Perez gave fans something to look forward to, saying, “The show may be ending, but Charlie Cox is far from done being Daredevil.”

That's definitly encouraging news for fans who want to see more of Cox's Daredevil in action, especially with rumors already pointing toward a possible appearance in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Previous reports have suggested Daredevil could reunite with Spider-Man in the upcoming 2027 MCU film. It's a pairing fans have wanted to see more of, and Cox himself has made it clear that he's interested.

During Fan Expo Chicago, the actor said, “Spider-Man and Daredevil together is so iconic. I hope we get to work together again.”

Seeing these two heroes fighting side by side would be pretty awesome, especially after their brief interaction in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Of course, Marvel Studios hasn't confirmed that either character will appear in Secret Wars, so the potential reunion remains a rumor for now.

Daredevil wasn't the only character discussed during Perez's Q&A. Another fan asked about the future of The Defenders and the Daughters of the Dragon, specifically whether Marvel might revisit those characters in a new Defenders movie or series, or finally give fans a Heroes for Hire show.

Perez responded, “There is some stuff in the works for them once Born Again ends.”

He didn't offer any additional details about which characters might return or what form these projects could take. Marvel also hasn't officially announced anything, but the possibility of bringing more of its street-level heroes back into action is exciting.

An exclusive trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 screened at New York Comic-Con that showed the Defenders coming together again while Matt Murdock is locked away in prison. The footage also included Wilson Bethel returning as Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter, better known as Bullseye.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in March 2027 and will conclude the series.

While it's disappointing to know the show is coming to an end, the possibility of Cox continuing as Daredevil in future MCU movies and other projects makes that news a little easier to accept.
