DUNE: PART TWO Officially Wraps Production!
Timothée Chalamet recently took to social media to announce that he’s officially wrapped production on Dune: Part Two. The announcement came with a photo of Chalamet with his father, Marc Chalamet, and he’s all smiles.
Now director Denis Villeneuve and his creative team start the long process of post-production work. The first film was so good, and with where the story goes, this sequel is sure to be even better! It’s definitely going to be a much bigger film. The filmmaker described the sequel as the “main meal,” and I can’t wait to experience it!
This sequel “will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.”
The returning cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, and Stephen McKinley Henderson. New cast members include Christopher Walken as Emperor Shaddam IV, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha, Léa Seydoux as Lady Margot, and Souheila Yacoub as Shishakli.
