Final Trailer For FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S Teases The Film's Creepy Story of Killer Animatronics

Blumhouse has released the final trailer for the film adaptation of the hit horror video game Five Nights at Freddy’s! This is the first of many horror game adaptations that the studio is looking to make in the future, and it actually looks like they managed to pull off a solid adaptation that audiences and fans of the game are going to enjoy.

The new trailer puts the focus on the creepy legendary story of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place and all the kids that went missing. It definitely does a good job of setting the tone of the film, which is reportedly going to be 3-hours long.

The film follows “a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.” You see, there are ghost children who are possessing giant animatronics that are out to terrorize.

The film stars Josh Hutcherson (Ultraman, The Hunger Games), Elizabeth Lail (You, Mack & Rita), Piper Rubio (Holly & Ivy, Unstable), Kat Conner Sterling (We Have a Ghost, 9-1-1), with Mary Stuart Masterson (Blindspot, Fried Green Tomatoes) and Matthew Lillard (Good Girls, Scream).

Five Nights at Freddy’s is directed by Emma Tammi (The Wind, Blood Moon) and she wrote the script with Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback.

Then there are the animatronic creatures that were created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.

The movie will be released on October 27th.
