First Poster for Disney's HAUNTED MANSION Movie and the Trailer Drops Tomorrow

Disney has released the first poster for its upcoming Haunted Mansion movie in anticipation of the trailer, which is set to drop tomorrow. The poster features a young boy staring down an eerie twisted hallway.

In this mysterious adventure, “a doctor and her 9-year-old son (Chase Dillon), looking to start a new life, move into a strangely affordable mansion in New Orleans, only to discover that the place is much more than they bargained for. Desperate for help, they contact a priest, who, in turn, enlists the aid of a widowed scientist-turned failed-paranormal expert, a French Quarter psychic, and a crotchety historian.”

The movie is directed by Justin Simien (Dear White People, Bad Hair), and it’s inspired by the popular Disney theme park attraction that’s home to 999 haunts. The script for the movie was written by Katie Dippold (Ghostbusters 2016).

The movie has a great cast that includes LaKeith StanfieldTiffany HaddishOwen WilsonRosario Dawson, and Danny DeVito star, with Jamie Lee Curtis as Madame Leota and Jared Leto as the Hatbox Ghost. Winona Ryder, Dan Levy, and Hasan Minhaj will also appear in the new movie.

The movie is set to be released on August 11th, 2023.
