James Gunn Addresses The F-Bomb Dropped in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 Promo Spot

With the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 just around the corner, the media machine is coming at us full volume to build up the hype. Not that it’s needed, our lovable band of do-gooders have all the following they need.

In one of the latest promo spots for the film, we get to see Star Lord/Peter Quill lob an F-Bomb at Nebula in a time of high stress. It brings up the question, was this intentional? The answer isn’t that cut and dry, however, a fan reached out to Gunn himself on social media to get down to the nitty gritty of the scene.

At another point in Gunn’s conversation on twitter, fan asked about if the other Ravagers that appeared in Vol. 2 would be making an appearance in Vol 3. Here is what was said:

There you have it folks, the F-Bomb is legal and we will be seeing “some” of the Ravagers. Honestly, with the Guardians potentially disbanding after this movie, Stallone’s group seems like one that I would love to see in a series. We already got a glimpse of him in another promo.

In Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 stars Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin/on-set Rocket, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, and Vin Diesel as Groot. New additions to the cast also include Will Poulter as Adam Warlock and Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary as well as Daniela MelchiorNico Santos, and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm's Maria Bakalova as Cosmo the Spacedog.

Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 opens in U.S. theaters on May 5.
