James Gunn Explains How He's Working on SUPERMAN and PEACEMAKER at the Same Time
James Gunn recently revealed that Peacemaker Season 2 has started production, and he will be working on that while also directing Superman.
So, how is Gunn working on both projects? How is he splitting his time between Superman and Peacemaker, which he is also directing episodes of?
The filmmaker took to social media to explain: "I only have a few days on weekends for [Peacemaker] - other directors start soon." So, don’t worry, Gunn isn’t neglecting Superman.
Gunn has always been a multitasker. It’s not hard to see him directing two projects at the same time. What I don’t get is how he manages to stay focused all all of his duties as a writer, director, and co-CEO of DC Studios, while still managing to be on social media all the time.
Gunn talked about how he approaches his 10+-hour shooting days, saying: "Yeah, we try to get done in a reasonable amount of time. Most sets are more, but that's also SHOOTING hours - there is setup earlier in the day and some time for wrap."
The filmmaker is a workhorse and the guy obviously loves what he’s doing and is excited to tell these stories. I can’t wait to see what the stories for these two very different projects entail!
