Lucasfilm Shares Artwork for AHSOKA Season 2
It was recently confirmed that Dave Filoni and his team have started work on developing Ahsoka Season 2. This was exciting news for fans who we’re waiting for that confirmation to come. Now that it’s here, Lucasfilm has shared some new artwork for Season 2.
The art is a sketch featuring Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) and Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) standing on the figure of the giant statue of The Father of the Mortis Gods. The image came with the caption, “The story continues.” Check out the art below:
Ahsoka is set after the fall of the Empire, and “follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.” Season 2 will continue that journey and with Grand Admiral Thrawn, Baylan Skoll, and Shin Hati on the loose, it will be interesting to see where the story goes.
Ahosoka also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger. I’m sure we’ll see Hayden Christensen return as well to take on the role of Anakin Skywalker.
