Marvel Teases the Arrival of Galactus in THE FANTASTIC 4 During Epic Drone Show at Comic-Con
Marvel Studios hosted an epic drone show last night in San Diego at Comic-Con, and it ended with a massive Galactus tease for The Fantastic 4. It also promised to reveal more during the big Marvel panel in Hall H on Saturday.
I was in a movie theater watching Deadpool & Wolverine when this drone show took place, so I missed the who damn thing! At least the movie was freakin’ awesome!
Marvel shared the video below, though, on social media, and it looks like they put on a rad drone show!
As for what we can expect from Hall H, we’ve heard that while The Fantastic 4 has just barely started shooting, there might be a sizzle real that Marvel is hoping to show fans along with first-look images of the cast suited up as their characters.
We’ll find out tomorrow! In the meantime check out this video footage of the drone show below!
The movie will be set in the ‘60s in an alternate-reality and Kevin Feige says that this is the Marvel film that he’s most excited about.
The movie stars Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us) as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning) as Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman; Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) as Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch; and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher, The Bear) as Ben Grimm, aka the Thing.
Paul Walter Houser also recently was cast in the project in an unknown role, Natasha Lyonne, and Julia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna) will take on the role of Shalla-Bal, who is an incarnation of Silver Surfer. Ralph Ineson will play Galactus.
The screenplay comes from Josh Friedman, who was brought in to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.
The Fantastic 4 is set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
