New Clip From The JOHN WICK Prequel Series THE CONTINENTAL Introduces The Adjudicator
A new clip has been released for the upcoming John Wick prequel series The Continental. The clip features Supergirl actress Katie McGrath in the role of The Adjudicator, an agent who has the authority to act and make decisions on behalf of The High Table and The Elder.
The Adjudicator character was first introduced in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, and in that film, she was played by Asia Kate Dillon. As you’ll see, she’s a ruthless individual.
This is a prequel story set in the ‘70s that will offer some background and history on this fascinating world of assassins and the High Table. The Continental is planned as a three-episode event series with each episode being 90 minutes long. The story for the series will be told through the eyes and actions of Winston Scott, “who is dragged into the Hell-scape of a 1975 New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through New York’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the iconic hotel, which serves as the meeting point for the world’s most dangerous criminals.”
The series stars Colin Woodell as a young Winston Scott; Ayomide Adegun, who will portray a young Charon (based on Lance Reddick’s character); Peter Greene, who dons the fedora of Uncle Charlie (based on the tight-lipped body disposal expert); Mel Gibson as Cormac; Ben Robson as Frankie; Hubert Point-Du Jour as Miles; Jessica Allain as Lou; Mishel Prada as KD; and Nhung Kate as Yen.
The series is being written and executive produced by Greg Coolidge (Wayne, Ride Along) and Kirk Ward (Wayne), who also serve as showrunners. David Leitch, Derek Kolstad, Erica Lee, Chad Stahelski, Paul Wernick, and Rhett Reese will also serve as executive producers.
The first episode is now available for streaming on Peacock and Starz in the U.S., and internationally on Prime Video.
