New Posters Released for the Spider-Man Universe Film MADAME WEB
Sony Pictures has released two new posters for its upcoming Marvel movie Madame Web. The first poster puts the spotlight on Dakota Johnson as the title character along with the other main characters in the film. The second poster only features Johnson.
This movie looks like it’s going to be terrible, which is a shame! There really is a good story to tell with Madama Web and these characters. But, for some reason, once again, Sony Pictures has decided to take the story in the wrong direction and this movie is going to be mediocre at best. Sony Pictures still hasn’t learned.
The posters came with the following notes on X: "The mind has infinite potential. Dakota Johnson is #MadameWeb – coming soon exclusively to movie theaters." and "Her web connects them all. #MadameWeb is coming soon exclusively to movie theaters."
The synopsis for the film reads: “In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing’s most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures… if they can all survive a deadly present.”
Madame Web also stars Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria), Celeste O’Connor (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Isabela Merced (Transformers: The Last Knight), and Emma Roberts (American Horror Story), along with Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps (The Upshaws), and Adam Scott (Severance). All this strong talent… wasted.
The film was directed S.J. Clarkson (Jessica Jones) and it will be released in theaters on February 14th.
