New TV Spot for THE MARVELS Reveals the Kree Supreme Intelligence

A new TV spot has been released for The Marvels and this one offers a brie first look at The Kree Supreme Intelligence. In Captain Marvel, the Supreme Intelligence was introduced in the form of the person with Annette Bening's Mar-Vell. Fans were pretty disappointed with the way the character was portrayed in that film, but in The Marvels we are getting a more comic-accurate version of the Kree artificial intelligence. But, it’s still not the head floating in the jar from the comics.

The real Supreme Intelligence was originally supposed to appear in Captain Marvel but was ultimately cut. Production designer Andy Nicholson previously explained:

"It was there. We did develop a line where within that space from the big pool of water in the back of the room, that eventually, that's where the big green head would come out of. I think eventually for the final scene of the movie, it would've taken away from what was the core focus which was."

"It would've been a big spectacle which would've overwhelmed the main thrust of what we were doing which was talking about Carol's development and transformation into Captain Marvel.”

You can check out the MCU version of the Supreme Intelligence in the new TV spot below. As far as what we can expect from the box office opening for the film, Deadline says there's a chance the Captain Marvel sequel will open with less than $70 million, which is a lower figure than Eternals' $71.2 million in 2021.

It's also said that ticket presales for the movie are pacing behind both Black Adam and The Flash (which debuted with $67 million and $55 million, respectively.

In The Marvels, “Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels.”

The film stars Brie Larson. Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary LewisSeo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson

Nia DaCosta directs, and Kevin Feige is the producer. The Marvels is set to be released on November 10th.
