NIGHTWING is Reportedly Low on DC’s Priority Movie List

We’ve been hearing quite a bit lately about Chris McKay’s Nightwing film. He’s told us that a script has been close to finished (although it may have finished by now), he’s trying to figure out what angle to go with when casting Dick Grayson, and he’s said he’d like Nightwing to have white eyes like in the comics and animated series.

With all those updates, it seems weird that DC has this film at the bottom of their list of priorities. The top of their list has films like The Flash, The Joker, Batgirl, The Batman, Suicide Squad’s sequel, Wonder Woman 2, Shazam!, and Aquaman which is coming to theaters this year.

Personally, I’d rather see Nightwing than Suicide Squad 2 and The Joker. I understand the need to get a Flash movie out, and they’re already filming Shazam! so those deserve to be at the top. Also, Wonder Woman has been their best movie yet, so it makes sense that the sequel would be towards the top. I wish Nightwing was higher on the list, but since it’s not, that means that McKay has time to work on the Dungeons and Dragons film.
