Bloody Red Band Trailer For Zack Snyder's Director's Cut of REBEL MOON

Netflix has released a red band trailer for Zack Snyder’s director’s cut of Rebel Moon, the sci-fi epic that ended up being a huge disappointment. The original movies were hot with a ton of negative reviews, but people tuned in to watch them so, of course, Netflix wants more.

The writing in these projects is pretty bad and I don’t expect the writing to get any better with the upcoming director’s cuts, which are titled Chapter One: Chalice of Blood and Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness.

As you’ll see in the trailer, these films will be much more bloody and violent, but that doesn’t make for a good story or help the writing. The movie looks visually cool! But, that’s really all these movies have going for them.

In Snyder’s director’s cut, “a peaceful settlement on a moon in the furthest reaches of the universe finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, and Kora, a mysterious stranger living among the villagers, becomes their best hope for survival.

“Tasked with finding trained fighters who will unite in making an impossible stand against the Motherworld, Kora assembles a small band of warriors — outsiders, insurgents, peasants, and orphans of war who share a common need for redemption and revenge. As the shadow of an entire Realm bears down on the unlikeliest of moons, a new army of heroes is formed.”

Rebel Moon Director’s Cuts will be rated “R,” as they are packed with “brutal bloody violence and gore, sexual content, graphic nudity and language.”

The movie stars Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Ed Skrein, Bae Doona, Djimon Hounsou. Ray Fisher, Jena Malone, Ed Skrein, Stuart Martin, Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, Michiel Huisman, Anthony Hopkins, and Alfonso Herrera.

The two films will be released on Netflix on August 2nd. Will you be watching them?
