Robert Pattinson in Talks to Join Christopher Nolan's Next Film

Robert Pattinson is in talks to join Christopher Nolan‘s next film at Universal. He will join a cast that also includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, and Lupita Nyong’o.

It was initially reported that the movie would be a vampire horror film set in the 1920s, but this recent report says that all of the “loglines or descriptions of the film that have been published to date are wrong.”

It was also previously noted that “the setting is not present day (although it’s unclear whether it’s set in the past or the future).”

Nolan previously talked about wanting to make a horror film, ”I’d love to make a horror film. But I think a really good horror film requires a really exceptional idea. And those are few and far between. So I haven’t found a story that lends itself to that.”

Pattinson and Nolan previously worked together on the mind-bending action thriller Tenet. The actor is currently in production on the A24 pic The Drama, which also stars Zendaya. He will next be seen in Mickey17.

The movie is expected to start shooting in early 2025, and it will be released on July 17, 2026.
