Sadie Sink Reportedly Set To Appear in AVENGERS: SECRET WARS
Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is reportedly is set to reprise her mystery MCU role from the pcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day role in Avengers: Secret Wars.
The report came from Deadline, who said that Sink would begin shooting the film later next year. As of right now, there is no indication that she will appear in Avengers: Doomsday.
As you might imagine, the news that Sink will show up in Secret Wars has sparked a discussion amoung fans of who she’s going to be playing in the MCU. Marvel Studiso has not revealed who she is playing yet, and there’s a variety of possibilities!
Fans see to be split on her either playing a villain in the story or a new love interest for Tom Holland's Peter Parker.
Some of the characters that shes been rumored to be playing include Jean Grey of the X-Men, the “Spider-Wasp” Shathra, Punisher ally Rachel Cole-Alves and even Mayday Parker, the daughter of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, which a lot of fans are hoping for.
With the new report that Sink will be back for Secret Wars, fans are especially hoping that it’s Mayday Parker because that means Toby Maguire would also most likely reprise his role as Spider-Man in the film, which has also been rumored.
Marvel fan HLumin on Reddit said: "100% Mayday Parker or Firestar. It's come to those two for me. I'm leaning more towards Mayday. Whoever she ends up being, we will not know until the post credit scene of BND. She will be someone else throughout the movie is my guess."
Speculation suggests that the reveal of Sink's character will be part of Brand New Day's plot, with the true identity of her character being unvieled as the story for the film unfolds.
"Mayday makes the most sense at this point," added Puzzled_Influence895. "She shows up as an unassuming side character like 'Carlie Cooper', helps Peter out... then drops the hammer and reveals the Tobey connection at the end, which brings him into the multiversal stuff."
Whoever she’s playing, there is a good chance we may not find out until Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters on July 31, 2026. Avengers: Secret Wars, meanwhile, is currently set for December 17, 2027.
