SUPERMAN Director James Gunn Shares New Set Photo of Lois Lane and Mr. Terrific
We are just four months away from seeing James Gunn’s Superman on the big screen, and while we wait for another trailer to be released, Gunn has shared a new photo for fans to enjoy. In the pic, which the director shared on his socials, we get a look at Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) and Mr. Terrific (Edi Gathegi).
This looks like the footage we’ve seen in the trailer, where Terrific is shown protecting Lois from what looks to be a group of Lex Luthor's soldiers.
The photo includes a birthday tribute to Edi Gathegi, who doubles in the films as Michael Holt / Mr. Terrific. Gunn says in the post, “Happy Birthday to my great friend and great actor @iamedigathegi, who you can see in all his technological glory in #Superman in July! Photo by @jessmigliophoto.”
Gathegi, who goes by the handle iamedigathegi, responded saying, “Thanks, James. Grateful for the laughs and inspiration, my brother.”
The film also stars David Corenswet as Superman, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern; Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl; Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen; María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica, aka The Engineer; Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher; and Terence Rosemore as Otis.
Superman will launch the movie part of DC Studios’ Gods and Monsters: Part 1. It’s scheduled for a theatrical release on July 11, 2025. Check out the post below:
