Trailer For Marvel's SECRET INVASION - The Great Nick Fury is Back For "One Last Fight"
Marvel Studios has released a new thrilling trailer for its upcoming espionage thriller series, Secret Invasion, and it features Samuel L. Jackson back in action as Nick Fury! It looks like he finds himself on a dark and intense mission as he is looking to save the world from a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. The trailer teases that this will be “one last fight” for him.
This story is set in the present-day MCU, “Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.”
This looks like it’s going to be a great Marvel series and I’m very excited about the story that it’s going to tell, and what it sets up for the future of the MCU.
The series also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlayne Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle.
Based on Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales, and Laura Martin’s comic book series, Secret Invasion is executive produced by Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot), with Let Him Go director Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim (The Looming Tower) set as directors.
Secret Invasion will premiere on June 21st, exclusively on Disney+.
