THE WITCHER Season 4 Adds Sharlto Copley, James Purefoy, and More to Cast
The Witcher Season 4 has added three new actors to its cast. Those actors include Sharlto Copley, James Purefoy, and Danny Woodburn.
Copley will take on the role of the infamous bounty hunter Leo Bonhart from The Witcher, Purefoy is set to play Skellen, a high-ranking spy and court advisor to Emhyr who is also a prominent figure. Woodburn will play Zoltan, a fan favorite dwarf character. All of these characters are from the novels.
The new actors join Liam Hemsworth, who replaced Henry Cavill as Geralt, as well as Laurence Fishburne, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan and Joey Batey .
The next season is described as follows: “After the shocking, Continent-altering events that close out season three, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other.”
If they can “embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire — and finding one another again.”
Lauren Schmidt Hissrich serves as the creator, showrunner, and executive producer of The Witcher. The show will start production this spring.
