At the end of the year, it’s always fun and interesting to go back and look at what the most popular posts have been over the course of the year.

As you might expect, the posts dealing with the Star Wars and Marvel franchises fill the Top 15 most popular posts on GeekTyrant in 2018. They were just big hot topics that sparked all kinds of fun and sometimes heated discussions.

It was interesting to go back and look at some of these and see what it was that readers were interested in reading and talking about. I imagine that the trend of Marvel and Star Wars being the post popular franchises to talk about will continue through 2019 as Marvel is about to enter a whole new phase of films. Then there are the Star Wars fans just waiting to see what J.J. Abrams does with Episode IX, what Jon Favreau does with The Mandalorian, and what Lucasfilm announces next.
