VENOM 3 Co-Star Juno Temple Teases "Fun and Interesting" Work on The Film
Venom 3 is currently in production and is set to arrive in theaters later this year. This will be the third film in the franchise and a few new actors have joined Tom Hardy in the Marvel movie including Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor. During a recent interview, Temple talked about her experience shooting the film and shared her excitement to see how the movie turned out. She said:
"I'm learning lots. It's fun and interesting, because there are so many things that you film that when the movie finally comes out will look different to what they were when we were filming them. I'm excited to see the creations that happen off camera, too."
Venom 3 is being directed by Kelly Marcel (Fifty Shades of Grey). She also wrote and produced the first two Venom movies. The script of this third film is based on a story that she developed with Hardy.
There are no details to share in regard to the story, but there’s no way it could be any worse than the last film that was made. Right? Some fans believe that the movie will follow up on Eddie Brock’s little multiversal hop in the post-credits scenes of Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Spider-Man: No Way Home, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Hardy explained in a previous interview: "These things [usually] come in threes. If there's going to be a new one – and they depend heavily on the success of each individual one, so you can't count on them ever happening again – every one has got to be as if it was the last one. But I think it's really important, if you go into something, thinking that one, two and three are the same... the same story, the same film. So that you don't surprise yourself by being caught out by suddenly having to do a third from nowhere. There's got to be some continuity into a third and fourth and fifth, and if somebody says 'no', that's fine. Let it go, and you move on to something else."
Venom 3 will be released on November 8, 2024.
