Would You Want to See Nick Frost Play The Penguin in THE BATMAN? He Likes The Idea!

Earlier this week it was reported that The Penguin may end up being the main villain in director Matt Reeves' The Batman. This isn't set in stone or anything, but of course, fans have been talking about who they would like to see in the role.

Josh Gad has messed around in the past about taking on the role of The Penguin, and a lot of fans seemed to like the idea of the possibility of Gad in the role. But now another actor is starting to make the rounds as a favorite to play the character and that actor is Nick Frost who you know from films such as Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

It's really not that hard to imagine Frost in the role of Oswald Cobblepot. In fact, Frost himself loves the idea! When it was brought to his attention on Twitter, he enthusiastically said that he's in!

If Matt Reeves does end up using The Penguin as the main villain in the film, we have no idea who he'll cast, but I imagine he would cast a solid actor in the role. Nick Frost could work if the director goes with a comic book version of the character. However, there's always the chance that Reeves could go with a different version that fits his vision for the world he's building.

As we've previously reported, Reeves is looking to do a dark noir-style film that will focus on the detective side of the Dark Knight.

Do you like the idea of Nick Frost taking on the role? If not, what other actors would you like to possibly see bring the characters to life?
