Zack Snyder's REBEL MOON Gets a Cool Behind-The-Scenes Featurette

Netflix has released a new featurette for Zack Snyder’s highly-anticipated Star Wars-inspired film Rebel Moon. The video offers fans a cool behind-the-scenes look at the film and it also includes interviews with the cast and crew, including Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Ed Skrein, Bae Doona, and Djimon Hounsou.

Snyder says in the featurette: "This movie, for me, existed elementally for 20 years. It's a story of a few against many, impossible odds, good vs. evil. I'm getting a chance to tell a story that I've been thinking about for quite a while."

The story is set in a “peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy that finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius. They dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand against the Tyrant.”

Snyder previously talked about the project, saying: “This is me growing up as an Akira Kurosawa fan, a Star Wars fan. It's my love of sci-fi and a giant adventure. My hope is that this also becomes a massive IP and a universe that can be built out."

This is a two-part film, and there’s so much about it that was heavily inspired by Star Wars. This is basically Zack Snyder’s Star Wars movie, and I’m excited to see how the story plays out!

Part One of Rebel Moon is scheduled to arrive on Netflix on December 22nd following a limited theatrical release.
