New Trailer for Zack Snyder's REBEL MOON - PART TWO: THE SCARGIVER
Zack Snyder has released a teaser trailer for his upcoming sci-fi action/adventure Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scaregiver. This is the second part of Snyder's epic saga, which launched with Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire.
The first movie ended up not being as good as I had hoped, and a lot of audiences feel the same way as the film currently has a 21% critics rating on Rotton Tomatoes and the audience score is only at 58%. Snyder has addressed these reviews, saying, “I don’t really have a rebuttal to the reviews. For whatever reason, the reaction to my movies is very polarising, and it always has been. The movie, it doesn’t seem like there’s that much in it that would warrant such visceral responses.”
When previously hyping up the sequel, Snyder said: “It’s a war film, 100 percent. It’s got way more action than the first movie, very intense and crazy action.” But big and better action doesn't strengthen the story, so we’ll see.
The Scargiver “continues the epic saga of Kora (Sofia Boutella) and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting with the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld. On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, great heroes emerge, and legends are made…”
The rest of the cast includes Charlie Hunnam, Ed Skrein, Bae Doona, Djimon Hounsou. Ray Fisher, Jena Malone, Ed Skrein, Stuart Martin, Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, Michiel Huisman, Anthony Hopkins, and Alfonso Herrera.
