PEACEMAKER Season 2 Starts Production and James Gunn Shares Photo From The Set
John Cena is back in action and shooting Peacemaker Season 2 for DC Studios. The project went into production over the weekend, and writer and producer James Gunn shared a fun photo from the set.
The photo from Gunn features an image of himself reflected in Peacemaker's shiny helmet.
Peacemaker Season 2 has been a priority for Gunn, and he explained why, saying, “Because it’s my favorite thing to do, it’s the biggest original Max show ever, and I have a way in.” The filmmaker went on to address the whole new DCU thing in regards to the series, saying, “It won’t be confusing.”
There are no details on the story for Season 2, but Gunn teased his future cameo plans for it, saying, "I think we're going to see more connections in some other stuff as we move forward with Peacemaker and other shows at HBO Max.
“So those [cameos] will keep coming. I don't know if the Justice League is going to show up in every season of Peacemaker; that might be a one-time thing. We'll see!"
