Behold! The First Stunning Trailer For DUNE: PART TWO!
It’s arrived! Warner Bros. has released the first full trailer for director Denis Villeneuve’s highly-anticipated sequel Dune: Part Two! If you are a fan of the first movie, and you’ve been excited about the sequel, this trailer is definitely going to give you an adrenaline rush of excitement for what this movie is going to deliver!
This looks like it’s going to be an insanely stunning sequel and one of the things it puts the focus on is Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) in an epic and intense scene which sees him taking a ride on the back of a freakin’ giant sandworm! The trailer also teases Paul’s relationship with Chani (Zendaya).
This sequel “will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.”
Villeneuve recently said he wanted this movie to have a lot of heart, and he wanted to make a very human film. He explained: “I wanted to make a very human movie, very close to the characters, despite the scope of the film. I kept saying to my crew, ‘The most important thing is that spark, that relationship between both of these characters.’ If we don’t capture that, if we don’t have that onscreen, there’s no movie. The epicenter of the story is this relationship.”
The returning cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, and Stephen McKinley Henderson. New cast members include Christopher Walken as Emperor Shaddam IV, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha, Léa Seydoux as Lady Margot, and Souheila Yacoub as Shishakli.
