DEADPOOL 3 Will Reportedly Include Liev Schreiber's Return as Sabretooth
The list of X-Men characters reportedly returning for Deadpool 3 just seems to get bigger and bigger. We know that some of these characters are going to appear in the movie, but then there are others that I’m not so sure about. There are just so many names being thrown out there, who knows!? But there’s no way it can be all of them!
Anyway, the latest report from reputable scooper Daniel Richtman says that Liev Schreiber will reportedly be returning as Sabretooth, which would be awesome if it’s true! It’s explained that Schreiber’s return isn’t a very big role, but it’s longer than a cameo.
Schreiber was a great choice for the role of Sabretooth in X-Men: Origins Wolverine, it’s just a shame that the movie sucked. If he does show up in Deadpool 3, it will be interesting to see how they utilize him.
Other characters that have been rumored for the film include Brian Cox as William Striker, Halle Berry as Storm, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Famke Jensen as Jean Grey, Lewis Tan as Shatterstar, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Ben Affleck as Daredevil, Taylor Swift as Dazzler, Taron Edgerton as a different Wolverine, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Dafne Keen as Laura Howlett aka X23, Rebecca Romijn as Raven, Julian McMahon as Doctor Doom, Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Ian McKellen as Magneto.
It was previously confirmed that Jennifer Garner will return as Elektra in the movie and James Marsden may be returning to play Cyclops. It was also previously reported that Deadpool 3 will feature more than two variants of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and two variants of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
A previous report said that Deadpool 3 is “basically the No Way Home of the Fox X-Men universe,” and that “we’re going to get a LOT of character justice in Deadpool 3,” and it came with a photo of the X-Men team from X2: X-Men United.
The movie is being directed by Shawn Levy, and the movie also stars Emma Corrin as the villain, Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. They are joined by Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend Yukio.
