Keanu Reeves Talks About Accidents on the Set of JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4

John Wick: Chapter 4 is currently playing in theaters, and you don’t have to wait any longer to experience the best and most badass film in the John Wick franchise! Some of you may have already watched it, and if that’s the case… I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did!

There’s a lot of crazy, intense, and fast-paced action in the movie, and when there’s so much going one with so many stunts, you can bet that someone is going to get hurt. You can bet that those stunt performers walked away with some bumps, scrapes, hits, cuts, and bone breaks.

During an interview with CB, Keanu Reeves talked about some of the accidents that happened while shooting the movie. One of those accidents involved Reeves cutting someone’s head open! When asked about the accidents on the set, Reeves said:

"Well I mean everyone is pretty tired – but it's the best kind of tired. It's like you climbed a mountain now you're resting; like you finished the game and you won. So in terms of accidents: I made a mistake once – I cut a gentleman's head open. So that really f*****g sucked (excuse my language). But other than that – oh, one guy got hit by a car. He was in the car, so he had to go to the hospital, but he was okay."

After watching the film, you’d think there would be more! But, it’s good to know that everyone just seems to be really good at their jobs making these movies and avoiding any insane and serious injuries.

Reeves previously said that John Wick: Chapter 4 was the hardest movie he’s ever made, saying: "John Wick 4 is the hardest movie I've ever made. In terms of action, it's the hardest film I've ever made. But that's what makes it good." As you’ll see in the movie, all of that hard work paid off! The fight scenes in this movie are some of the best ever put on film!

John Wick: Chapter 4 was helmed by Chad Stahelski, and the cast also includes Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Ian McShane, and Bill Skarsgard as the sinister main villain.
