Marvel's SECRET INVASION Gets a New TV Spot and Poster - "No Backup. Only Fury."
Marvel Studios has released a new TV spot for its upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion as well as a poster. In this series, Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury is taking on an invasion of Skrulls on Earth, and what makes that so difficult is that no one can really tell who the invaders are.
The new trailer points out that Nick Fury is the most wanted man on the planet, and that, for some reason, he is going to have to face this threat all by himself, with no backup from his friends, which doesn’t make much sense, but ok.
This story is set in the present-day MCU, “Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.”
The series also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlayne Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle.
Based on Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales, and Laura Martin’s comic book series, Secret Invasion is executive produced by Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot), with Let Him Go director Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim (The Looming Tower) set as directors.
Secret Invasion will premiere on June 21st, exclusively on Disney+. Who’s excited for this show!?
