New DEADPOOL 3 Rumor Claims Taylor Swift Is in the Movie, but Not as Dazzler
Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy was recently asked if rumors about Taylor Swift playing Dazzler in the film were true, and it was a question he wasn’t really willing to answer. He responded saying: “I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see.”
Regardless of his response, there’s a lot of evidence supporting the reports that she could appear in the movie. The fact that she’s friends with the creative team and she’s hanging out with Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds at football games.
Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has talked about working with Taylor Swift, saying: “I would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius.” Then Levy recently compared Swift to Steven Spielberg and said she’d make a “hell of a director.” It seems like they’d all like to work with her, and I imagine that they at least asked her.
Well, a new report from industry insider MyTimeToShineHello says that Swift will be in the film, but she’s not playing Dazzler. While Swift would fit the character Dazzler, who else could she be playing? Well, knowing Deadpool and the kind of humor in the franchise, my guess is that Swift will be playing herself in the movie.
While that’s just speculation, I could see totally Deadpool and Wolverine ending up at a Taylor Swift concert.
