New details have surfaced regarding the appearance of Mephisto in the upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart series. Fans have been wanting to see Mephisto in the MCU since the crazy fan speculation that he was going to show up in WandaVision.
Well, it looks like the character will make his debut in Ironheart, and thanks to movie insider CanWeGetToast, we’ve learned that Mephisto will apparently appear “mostly” in his human form in the series, instead of his demon form. It’s explained that it will feature only “glimpses” of his true demonic appearance.
It was also reported that the villain in the series, The Hood, will be stealing tech for Mephisto, and that tech will be used to build “an advanced Bio-Suit” in the series. The series is said to have a “Magic vs Tech” theme. Here are the tweets with ths information:
The Ironheart series stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, and we have a first look at her wearing the armor here. The movie also stars Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich, Shea Couleé, Zoe Terakes, and Anthony Ramos as The Hood.
The six-episode series was created by Chinaka Hodge, and the story follows Riri Williams, a young engineering genius and the creator of the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man. The series will be set after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. I got to see some early footage from the series ,and it looks like it could be fun.
Ryan Coogler’s production company, Proximity, is producing the series, and Chinaka Hodge serves as the head writer.
