SCREAM 7 Set to Be Released in February 2026
Scream fans will get to see Ghostface embark on a whole new bloody killing spree in Scream VII, which is set to hit theaters on February 27, 2026.
Neve Campbell, who will return to the franchise to play Sidney Prescott, made the announcement on social media. She previously talked about the next film saying: “We are going to follow Sidney. They did pitch the concept to me, and it’s the reason that I jumped on board.”
The actress added: “I love these movies, they are so much fun to be a part of, I’m so grateful for them, I could never have imagined being a part of a movie that would have lasted this many decades.”
The film will be directed by franchise creator Kevin Williamson, and the story is said to involve Sid’s two kids. Apparently, Sid and Gale (Courteney Cox) will find themselves facing off with some kind of Ghostface cult. Cox has yet to still sign onto the film.
It was also rumored that the story might involve a "big time jump" following the events of the last movie. The reason for this is so that Sidney's children have grown to an appropriate slasher movie age.
Paramount Pictures will distribute the film, which Spyglass Media is producing.
