SUPERMAN Set Photos Reveal the Daily Planet Globe as Well as Some Rubble That Indicates Trouble at the Station
Some new set photos from Superman have been revealed that give fans a good look at the outside of the Daily Planet building, complete with the iconic globe that is linked to the building’s aesthetic. We get to see the globe delivered, as well as its final placement above the entrance to the newspaper’s headquarters. It’s pretty epic!
We also get to see the street outside the building where some building rubble and debris are being delivered via trucks, meaning we will probably see something crazy go down at the Daily Planet at some point in the film.
James Gunn’s Superman will tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”
Superman stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman; Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane; Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor; Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern; Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl; Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt / Mr. Terrific; Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen; María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica, aka The Engineer; Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher; and Terence Rosemore as Otis. Beck Bennett was recently added to the cast as Steve Lombard.
Superman will launch the movie part of DC Studios’ Gods and Monsters: Part 1. It’s scheduled for a theatrical release on July 11, 2025. Check out the new photos below:
