THE FANTASTIC 4: FIRST STEPS Promo Video Teases Big Trailer Launch for Tomorrow
Marvel has released a promo video for The Fantastic 4: First Steps, and it teases a big trailer launch for the film, which will be happening tomorrow at 7am!
I’ve gotta tell ya, I’m very excited for this movie! It’s the first Marvel movie that I’ve been super excited about in a long time. The test footage that Marvel showed at Comic-Con blew me away, so I can’t wait to see what the actual footage from the film looks like!
In the footage in the video below shows a group of kids running to watch TVs in a store window. They're very excited, and it seems like they are looking to watch a space launch involving Marvel's First Family.
You can see Ben Grimm followed by the rest of the team in one of the TVs. One screen says "Prepare 4 launch," while another shows a spacecraft blasting through the sky.
The synopsis reads: “Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet.
“Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”
Additional roles are being played by Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne.
The movie is being directed by Matt Shakman from a screenplay by Josh Friedman, who was brought in to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.
The Fantastic 4: First Steps is scheduled to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
