The Logo for James Gunn's SUPERMAN: LEGACY Resembles Kingdom Come Superman Logo; plus New Cast Photo

The logo being used for James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy has been revealed thanks to a photo posted by Isabela Merced, who is playing Hawkgirl, at a table read. She shared the photo on social media, and it resembles the logo used for Kingdom Come Superman.

This is just a logo, and it may have just been used for the table read. I may not have anything to do with the film, but I have always liked this logo, so if it is the one used in the movie… cool! One thing we know for a fact though, is that this movie is not going to be an adaptation of the Kingdom Come storyline.

Gun also shared a photo of the cast after the table read. Check out the logo and photo below and hit us up with your thoughts!

Superman: Legacy will tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”

James Gunn also previously revealed that the film will skip the origin story for Superman and dive right into the meat of his story.

Superman: Legacy stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt / Mr. Terrific, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, and María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica, aka The Engineer.

Superman: Legacy will launch the movie part of DC Studios’ Gods and Monsters: Part 1. It’s scheduled for a theatrical release on July 11, 2025.
