Two Brand New Stills From SUPERMAN and THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Highlight DC & Marvel's Power Couples
A couple of cool new still have been released from two of the most anticipated superhero movies headed our way this year, DC’s Superman, and Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
In the still from Superman, we get to see a new shot of David Corenswet’s Superman in his suit, standing across from Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) on a street filled will rubble and debris. They are locked in a gaze that tells us something special is happening between them.
They will be joined in the film by Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Skyler Gisondo as Clark Kent’s best pal, Jimmy Olsen; Wendell Pierce as The Daily Planet’s Perry White; Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl; Isabela Merced as Kendra Saunders, aka Hawkgirl; and Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner.
The cast also includes Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord; Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt, aka Mister Terrific; Maria Gabriela de Faria as Angela Spica, aka The Engineer; Sara Sampan as Eve Teschmacher; Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason, aka Metamorphosis; Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr.; Neva Howell as Martha Kent; and Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent.
The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 11, 2025. Check out the still below:
Next up, we have a new look at two of the members of Marvel’s First Family, from the upcoming flick, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The photo features Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal) and Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby) in full astronaut uniform, playfully and lovingly looking at one another during either an exercise, or an official launch. We will just have to wait and see.
The pair will be joined in the film by Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet.
“Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner).
Additional roles are being played by Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne.
