New Rumor Claims Marvel Is Keeping Some Members of AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Cast a Secret Until the Film's Release
We have already been made aware of a foundation of cast members that will be included in Avengers: Doomsday, and it’s been hinted at that we will see another roll out of names, but a new rumor claims that there may be a short list of cast members that will be kept a secret until after the film is released.
The Cosmic Circus' Alex Perez reports that the studio intends to keep certain actors/characters under wraps until fans are sitting down to watch the movie.
"Some of these characters are new, some of these characters are old, and some are legacy. The goal is not to reveal them until the release of Doomsday.
Even if I did mention who they were planning to involve, we’d be stuck in this limbo of will they/won’t they for the next year or so. But most of the characters that haven’t been officially announced have either been rumored by me, other scoopers, or YouTubers."
So far the cast includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright as Shuri/Black Panther, and Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man.
There’s also Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Tenoch Huerta Mejia as Namor, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Lewis Pullman as Bob/The Sentry, Danny Ramirez as The Falcon.
The cast continues with Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Victor von Doom.
