SCREAM 7 Casts RIVERDALE Actor Mark Consuelos
Riverdale actor Mark Consuelos is the latest actor to join the cast of director Kevin Williamson’s Scream 7. There’s no word on who he’s playing in the film.
Consuelos joins Neve Campbell, who is reprising her role as Sidney in the film and she will be joined by Courteney Cox, who officially closed her deal to reprise her role as Gale Weathers. And Matthew Lillard is back as Stu!
The movie also stars Jasmin Savoy Brown returning as MIndy and Mason Gooding, who plays Mindy’s brother Chad.
The new cast members of the franchise includes Joel McHale as Sidney’s husband, Isabel May, Mason Gooding, Mckenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor and Asa Germann.
The next chapter of Scream will reportedly involve a "big time jump" following the events of the last movie. This is so that Sidney's children have grown to an appropriate slasher movie age.
It was also previously reported that Scream 7 "will have two main storylines, one about Sid and her friends from the neighborhood, and the second one about Sid's teen daughter Taylor (could be a codename) and her friends. Each of them will have to deal with Ghostface."
Sid and Gale will reportedly find themselves facing off with some kind of Ghostface cult.
Scream 7 is being directed by Kevin Williamson and it will be released on February 27, 2026.
