Enjoy These Funny SUPERMAN Memes Playing with The First Look at David Corenswet in His Suit
After James Gunn released that first look at Superman with David Corenswet all decked out in his suit, the fans took to social media to poke fun at it.
I’ve collected a few of the funny memes that I’ve come across that capture the lack of urgency that Superman is showing as Metropolis is being attacked by a giant glowing ball of death.
A lot of fans were expecting some kind of heroic action shot, instead we got a shot of the iconic hero putting his boots on just like the rest of us would. It’s an everyman take on the character, but it didn’t really land well with some fans.
Releasing that image was a miscalculation on Gunn’s part, but I’m still confident that the filmmaker will deliver a great Superman movie.
