Ryan Reynolds Teases Dogpool in DEADPOOL 3 and the Film Gets a New Release Window
With the SAG-AFTRA strike over, movies and TV shows can start production again soon! One of those productions that has been on hold is Deadpool 3.
After news broke that a deal was reached and the strike had come to an end, Deadpool 3 star Ryan Reynolds took to social media to tease the appearance of Dogpool, with a photo a caption that reads: “Did Dogpool save the day? Not a chance in gremlin hell. But she IS currently causing the Disney plus merch department nightmares.”
It definitely sounds like Dogpool will be in the movie! The actor also teased the new release window for the film saying, “Coming with the movie, Summer 2024.”

The confirmed cast includes Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin as the villain, Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. They are joined by Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend Yukio. It was previously confirmed that Jennifer Garner will return as Elektra in the movie.
Rumored casting includes Brian Cox as William Striker, Halle Berry as Storm, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Famke Jensen as Jean Grey, Lewis Tan as Shatterstar, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Ben Affleck as Daredevil, Taylor Swift as Dazzler, Taron Edgerton as a different Wolverine, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Dafne Keen as Laura Howlett aka X23, Rebecca Romijn as Raven, Julian McMahon as Doctor Doom, Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Ian McKellen as Magneto. James Marsden may be returning to play Cyclops, along with Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth, Daniel Radcliffe as Wolverine, Dafne Keen as X-23, and Channing Tatum as Gambit. Then, of course, there’s Taylor Swift.
Director Shawn Levy has said that some of those rumored characters will be in the film.
